Question : How to prevent password autofill at some sites?

Specifically, the customer is having problems when he goes to aol.com and signs in--because when he tabs down to the password field, it autofills the field with the password he last used.  It is still showing as asterisks, of course, but the problem is that it has his valid password--which he does not want.  He want to have to key it in each time.  He does not think that he has ever checked the box on the aol sign in screen to "remember me", but in any case, it is definitely not checked now, and he needs me to solve this problem.

BTW, I noticed the same phenomenon when I logged into experts exchange just now...it let me key in my user name, and when I hit tab, it autofilled the password field.

The customer is using IE 8.  Any easy solution?  TIA

Answer : How to prevent password autofill at some sites?

Hi,
The Feature you are refferring to is called as Auto Complete.
You can enable / Disable this feature in IE 8 under
Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete > Settings
This is where you can enable / disable the autofill / autocomplete option.

In order to clear the already saved passwords Tools > Browsing History > Delete. In here you would find the option to clear Saved Uids and passwords.
