Question : "Error 1327 Invalid Drive F:/" on Sprint USB Wireless Installation

I'm trying to install a new Sprint Mobile USB modem on XP Pro. (No virus's or spyware)
Only C: and D: showing in "My Computer".
Computer Management/Disk Management has only C: and D:.
Whether I try to install from the CD/DVD (D:/) or just by inserting the USB, I receive the above error message.
I've done everything I could find on Google or EE search.
Searched Reg for F: using "Data. Found 4 entries, .xls files not on any drives, pointing to "G:". Deleted.
