Hi Rickzzz,
Make sure your network password is not expired. If it is not do this.
Go to the Control Panel and select Administrative Tools. Click the Services icon. Scroll down to Protected Storage and make sure it is set to start automatically. Look in the start up type column. If it is not set to startup automatically, right click it and select automatically. If it is not started, right click and choose start.
While in the the Control panel, click on User Accounts, click the Advanced tab and select Manage passwords. Remove any that are stored there.
In Outlook click on Tools and select Send and Receive ~ Send and receive settings ~ Define send and receive groups. Select All accounts and click Edit Select any other group besides the Microsoft Exchange and clear all send and receive settings for them. Leave the Microsoft Exchange settings alone.
Close Outlook and see if you can set your password and have it save.
If that didn't fix the problem look here for some fixes that worked. http://www.newmediamusings.com/blog/2003/05/solution_to_ent.html
Let us know how you do.
cheers, frankco
