Transposing cells converts each row in the source range into a column in the destination range. The same process can also be described as converting each column into a row.

To transpose a range of cells select the cells and choose the menu command Edit->Copy. Select the top left destination cell and then choose the menu command Edit->Paste Special, check on the "Transpose" check box, and click OK.
