Question : Populating SharePoint Contact List from Active Directory
Hello,
I want to import user information (contacts) from Active Directory (AD) and populate contact list in Sharepoint 2007.
I have several sub-sites each dedicated to a particular department. I want to display users from IT under "IT Contact List" and so forth. I bet the easiest way is to import contacts from outlook. However, this will not update any changes made in employee information. Hence, I want to populate and sync these contact list from AD.
I wonder if there is a way to do so.
Will appreciate any help.
Thanks.
