No, we don't use symantec, but we do have trend micro installed. as a test, i cannot login locally to these machines either. We have remote management cards in them and the local login gives me a userinit.exe error. I'm also seeing group policy errors while trying to retrieve properties of the group policies. The weird thing is this error only shows up when i try to login locally, not over RDP as it never even connects. I suspect strongly that they're related. I'll update this as i try and narrow it down further.
