Question : Fonts not showing in fontlist

I know of several   .TTF   fonts that are in the Windows/Fonts folder, but they don't show up in the fonts list when in an application and trying to choose.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

Yes, because bold and italic are attributes you set via FontBold and FontItalic and not via the Fontname.
