Question : Data Analysis Toolpak error -  "Descriptive Statistics - Input range contains non-numeric data"

Hi Experts:

I'm working with a small dataset of info that I'm trying to analyze with Excel's Data Analysis Toolpak feature but when I attempt to define the input and output specs for this function, I get the error: "Descriptive Statistics - Input range contains non-numeric data".

I've tried multiplying the data by one to ensure it is numeric; I'm not including the label row and I've even used the Trim function to eliminate any possible spaces.  Am still getting the error.  I uploaded the file if that's any clue.  Any suggestions on what I might try next?

Thanks,

Jeff

Answer : Data Analysis Toolpak error -  "Descriptive Statistics - Input range contains non-numeric data"

Nope, I was away for quite some time :)

try B5:C16 (without labels) to get stats for both columns

If you want it by person then I think you will need to run B6:C6 by rows for Sam etc -

Cheers

Dave
