Question : Controlling users with Microsoft Access 2007
|
|
Experts,
I'm wondering about user access in MS Access 2007.
I have several questions:
1. Is it possible to require users to log onto the Access DB with a username and password? 2. Can I use this logged in user as a default value when new rows are created in any table? 3. Does Access have something like a User mode that will allow me to give the Access DB to Users but they are only able to use the forms and reports meaning they cant go into the Tables and Views and Design Views of Reports and Forms. They cant do any editing of the database itself. Only manipulate data using the forms?
Thanks

Sounds like you are requesting Access User Security? This feature has been removed in Access 2007 ...
