Question : windows XP 64bit setup
Hi there,
I have a strange situation, I received a new dell PC with 2 hard drives and it uses Array with Raid 0. I want to configure the windows XP 64BIT with Raid 0. It does not have a floppy disk drive. So When I run the setup I press F6 to setup third party drivers for the Storage Matrix the widows setup asks for a floppy disk with a driver file. But because I do not have an external floppy I am not sure what to do.
My question is can I put the storage driver file to a usb drive and will it recognize it. Or Shall I just go ahead and buy an external Floppy.
Thanks for your help and Happy New Year.
Answer : windows XP 64bit setup
It needs to be a floppy drive. Either that, or you have to slipstream the drivers into the XP setup CD with something like NLiteOS.
