Question : IE8 desktop short cuts won't open maxed.

I have a client that has numerous shortcuts to different websites on his desktop
He is wondering (and so am I ) if there is some way to make the short cut open IE in a maximized window. Right clicking on the short cut and going to properties does not show any option for running maximized. Your help would be appreciated!
