If you can't view the Security tab, you most likely have simple file sharing enabled (this is the Windows default). To view the Security tab, do the following:
- Open Windows Explorer or My Computer.
- Click on the Tools, then Folder Options.
- Click on the View tab.
- In the Advanced Settings section at the bottom of the list, remove the checkmark from in front of Use simple file sharing (Recommended) check box.
- Click OK.
You should then be able to see the Security tab. You may need a reboot.
