Question : How would I extract one of each number in an excel column that contains many copies of hundreds of numbers?

I have an excel file that contains a subject ID column. There are several hundred subject IDs.  This column contains several copies of each Subject ID.  I need to create a column that contains only one copy of each subject ID. How would I do this? Thanks

Select your range or items or just select the entire column, then select Data, Filter, Advanced Filter.  The list range and criteria range should be the same as your list of ids.  Select copy to another location.  Select unique items only.  Then select the location you will be copying to.  Walla!  You have a unique list of your items and live happily ever after!  *smiles*  Tom
