Question : Login returns to login screen
When I login and enter the correct password, I very briefly see my normal desktop background and then it takes me back to my login screen .
Problem started after I added a new limited Windows account. So I used Norton GoBack to go back to before I created the new account and reboot and only see my original account AND THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS.
Other than a Windows Repair Install from CD
OR
Booting to Administrator account in Safe mode (Assuming that login willwork which is not a given) and creating a 2nd admin-privlege account and moving all data from old to new account,
There is a huge amount of data to move which is a problem with 2nd approach and not enough free disck space to do a copy.
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU THINK OF TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
Also please reply on this, does Norton GoBack do MORE than Windows System Restore? So trying Windows System Restore in Safe mode (if we can get there)would be a a waste of time or not?
