Question : Excel 2007 charts do not update!

Hi guys

We've recently purchased several machines at our company all with Office 2007. I'm new to this particular version and unable to resolve a problem we have.

We have a load of different charts that just won't update! Despite opening them, choosing update values, the figures remain the same. We can open the same charts up in a previous version and the information is there. If we save them, and open them up again in 2007, the newly added information from 2003 is not there and the chart is still inaccurate.

I've tried editing the source of the chart and it definitely has all the data sourced, as proven by the fact 2003 still works ok. We usually source ahead so when the data sources are updated, the charts update automatically. Never been a problem in the past - so I'm not sure how to resolve this one!

in Excel which in previous versions, you could update the data source and the charts would automatically update. This would work fine for Excel 2000, XP and 2003.. but in 2007, the charts do not update! If we open the charts up in a previous version, the chart would display the correct information.. We can save the file, and load it up on the new version, but the new version seems to be stuck on a particular date.
