Question : Client side drives not showing  up in Terminal Server

Hi - We have a Windows 2003 terminal server deployed and some users are not able to see their local disks when they login into the terminal server. What is displayed under "My Computer" is funky icon that does nothing. They can access tere local disks by using \\tcclient\ but it is a hassel for them. The rdp config file does have the box is checked for mapping the drive. Any ideas?

Answer : Client side drives not showing  up in Terminal Server

Ok.  Does it make a difference if they logon from a different client PC?  If no then it appears like something in the user profile.  You can rename their profile (usernameold) and login as them again and see if you have the same issue.  If you still have the issue then it could be the default user profile.  Delete or move the contents of the default user profile to a backup folder, login with a new account, see if it works, and if it does then logout and copy that profile into the default user profile.
