Question : Unable to remove replica public folders

I am trying to remove the last Exchange 2003 server from an Exchange 2007 organization. I am currently follow this documentation: How to Remove the Last Legacy Exchange Server from an Organization http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905(EXCHG.80).aspx.

I had gotten to the step where I migrate all existing public folders to the Exchange 2007 server. As far as I can tell this is complete (it has been several days). However, I still have replicas of system public folders showing up in the Public Folder Instances. If I try to use the remove replica function, I receive the error:

Can not remove the selected replica(s) because a public folder must have at least one replica.

Exchange System Manager

Answer : Unable to remove replica public folders

and this has been the case for multiple days ?

if so we can force the deletion using adsiedit.msc

open the configuration partition -> services-> exchange -> first administrative group -> find the 2003 server -> find the storage group => find the publc folder store right click delete
