Question : Office 2007 Product ID

Hi There.

I am trying to setup a PC in a company that has closed down one of its branches and re-deployed their machines. This PC was on one domain with a fully working version of office. However now that it is on a new domain with a new user it is looking for a product ID again.

I have asked about the disks which were supposed to have come from the old office and they are all looking at me blankly.

So what I would like to know is.....Is there any way for me to find the existing Product ID from the machine in question? The OS is XP-Pro SP3.

But I think that will not work - if product key will be entered it will not ask you again to enter it.
But if you do not have COA or license agreement or proof of aquistment, you will not be able to prove that the product it is legal.
