How do I increment days, dates, letters and such in excel?

For exmample I want to type:
Monday in cell A1 and then have Tuesday, Wed, Thur ... and son put in each of the next cells

The same with say 11/15/01 gives 11/16/01, 11/17/01

Same with A ... then B, C, D ...

OK, for the AutoFill A-Z, you need to do a one time create custom fill, and then Excel will understand what you are trying to accomplish with the A - B - C - D >Drag.

To accomplish this, Type in the whole alphabet, in consecutive cells, then goto: Tools>Options>Custom List tab, and the Import from Cells dialog box, choose the cooresponding cells, eg. if you started with A in Cell A21 and ended with Z in cell A46, the entry would look like $A$21:$A$46 and then click the Import button, and OK, and the next time that you try the AutoFill A-Z, it will work.
