Question : Integration Manager grayed out

Having problems setting up Integration Manager for one user in GP 9. Integration Manager has been installed and registered. It launches normally if you open it from the Start menu. The problem is that it is not available from the menus in GP.

The user launches GP and logs in using her account. If she goes to Tools -> Integrate in the menus, then the "Integration Manager" menu option is grayed out. On the same computer, if I log into GP using the sa account, this option is not grayed out (please see attached image).

This user is a new employee and the menu item has never been available on her account. It is available for other users who have the software installed on their machines.

Any suggestions and trouble shooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer : Integration Manager grayed out

Hi,

Give this a try:

1. On the Tools menu, click Setup, click System, and then click Security.

2. Select the user and the company that has this problem.

3. For Product, click Microsoft Dynamics GP. For Type, click Microsoft Dynamics GP Import. For Series, click Integration Site Enabler.

4. Make sure that the user has access to the Integration Site Enabler in the access list. If the user has access to the Integration Site Enabler, the user can access all three import selections. If the user does not have access to the Integration Site Enabler, the user cannot access Integration Manager.
