I have a DC and print server ( two seperate servers) that runs 2008 in another state, and active directory is 2003 in our main head quarters.
I have Terminal servers 2008 at the location running the DC 2008.
I have setup deploy printers so when a user signs on to the domain they get the printer I want them to have.
Also the terminal server users get athenticated buy the Dc2008.
When I sign on to a PC and authenticate to the domain at head quarters it is to the Active Directory 2003 server.
The problem is I do not see the printers when I sign on to the PC at the DC2003 server, but when I sign on to the TS2008 with the DC2008 there it works.
Is this just the way it is, because of the mixed 2003/2008 enviroment?
Can it be fixed?
