Question : IE issues with Java scripting errors, trying to print from Outlook and show websites taht have Java scripting embedded.

Get Java script error res://ieframe.dll when trying to print from Outlook
Embedded Java script objects will not work in Wintotal (mapquest is an embedded object)
Uninstalled/reinstalled IE and Java plus see steps below:

TS session for email test print and recieved a IE javascript error.
an error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line 142
Char1
Syntax error
Code 0
URL:res//ieframe.dll/preview.dlg
Doesn't matter if you click yes or no to keep running scripts.
Tried enabling scripts and went through security/trusted sites to see if that helps, no go.
IE7.0.5730.13

Should I try to install IE8?

Noticed taht when you bring up IE, it wants to finish the setup through the "runonce.aspx", even through IE was setup AND the homepage is set to Google.com

It just sits there saying "done"
The security was too tight, couldn't go anywhere or download/do anything without having to add it.
Reset all security to low, and at least it's trying to print.
Downloaded java to fix

Did a test print from the ricoh printer listed on the terminal server - successful
Tried to do another test print from Outlook and it almost went.
Windows update - will not go to the site.

Downloaded IE 8 and installed.
Need confirmation to reboot server.

Rebooted server - no go.
Tried regsrv32 and registered .dlls
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll (would not register)
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
regsrv32 Ole32.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 ieframe.dll

Tried reinstalling java again - no go.
Tried program associations in IE - no go.

Tested printing through other Microsoft office products, works fine.

She still can't get to websites, including acfconsulting.com
can get to google.
can get to msn
disabled all script debugging in IE - no go (still gets errors-wierd).

Answer : IE issues with Java scripting errors, trying to print from Outlook and show websites taht have Java scripting embedded.

The fix for the solution was reinstalling Windows Scripting Host.
This resolved the issue, the installer can be downloaded from the Microsoft Website. I believe the current version is 5.7 (for Server 2003) the versions do differ between different Operating systems so the same install for XP is not the same install for Server 03 make sure that you download the proper version.

After reinstalling it, resetting all your internet settings will be required (permissions etc...) mostly setting trusted sites to low.
