Question : Migrating Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2007
I am trying to migrate email in my windows live mail client to an Outlook 2007 client on a different computer. My first though was to export the email in Microsoft Exchange format and then take the file and import it to another computer. However, every time I try to do this, I get the message: Windows Live Mail was unable to export all of your messages. It suggests running Disk CleanUp (which I have done) or deleting some files. I haven't done this yet. It also suggests its a space problem but I don't see how I can change the destination of the stored archive. Interestingly enough when I save it in Wndows Live Mail formal (a FOL file whatever that is) I am able to do the export with no problems.
Answer : Migrating Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2007
Try creating a new profile from the Mail applet in Control Panel and choose that profile when you export from WLM.
