Question : foward one email to multiple people exchange 2007
Hi,
I have the distribution group setup, and currently I am having someone's email forwarded to that distribution group, and then have 3 people as members of that distribution group, but they are not getting emails from the outside.
internally everything is working.
We have forefront to configure what is allowed from the outside;
so this is what it looks like
i email the user -> this user's email is forwarded to the distribution group (a copy is also left in her box), which multiple people are a part of.
From the outside (using my yahoo account), mail goes directly to the user's inbox who I want forwarded, and doesn't take the forward to the distribution group.
I added the distribution group email on forefront, but it still is not working.
something that I am doing wrong?
Answer : foward one email to multiple people exchange 2007
check under the properties for the group, under mail flow settings, go to message delivery restrictions properties, and un tick the "require that all senders are authenticated box" (if it is checked that is) then try it
