Question : Event ID 5706, The system can not find SYSVOL, SCRIPTS in path specified.
This company has a Domain Controller that it is missing it's entire SYSVOL directory and TREE structure. Insane but it is true. Apparently there are two more servers using Active Directory and those other servers are working fine...except that they see the errors coming from the Domain Controller.
My question is how can I rebuild the SYSVOL directory structure on Domain Controller? Can I easily copy the entire directory structure from any one of the other two servers? If I can't do this than can I at least copy the SCRIPTS folder from another server to the DC?
