Question : Error Code 80070490 on Server 2008

I have googled this error and have not found any good solutions.  There are 2 updates not working.  I had a new update today and it worked fine but the other two continue to fail with this error.  The server is less then a month old and is only used as a file server.  I'm not sure what could have happened.  Any help would be great.  Thanks

The two updates that are failing: KB967723 and KB 976098

Answer : Error Code 80070490 on Server 2008

Try downloading:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

It is the standalone installer for the KB you mentioned.  Chose to save it, then disable any AV you may jave running and right click on the installer and select Run as administrator.

Update me with any results.
