Question : How do I insert a word document or pdf into the body of an email?

We have sales quotes that we typically attach and email.  Customers are asking that we insert the quote directly into the body of an email.  I know when you insert a doc you can say attach as txt but it never pulls the header and it doesn't keep the formatting all of the time.  Is there another way to do this?

Answer : How do I insert a word document or pdf into the body of an email?

If you insert a Word document as an object, then the whole document is embedded. Double-clicking on the body text seen in the message will open the Word application so that any Header or Footer can be seen in the appropriate view.

In Outlook 2007 select then Insert tab. Then Text group, Object button. You can bring in ac existing document with the Create form File tab.
