Question : PPS viewer for Windows 7 and 64 bit system

I just purchased a new Alienware computer with Vista and upgraded to Windows 7.  I have a two year old Works program I bought for the pps viewer program for email. I cannot get it to work with the new Live mail program with Win/7. I  am not very igood when it comes to computers so simple answers please

Drag the attachment out of the e-mail window onto your desktop.  Then, right-click on the .PPS file that's now on your desktop.  From the pop-up menu, choose "Open with...".  Select "PowerPoint" or "PowerPoint Viewer" from the list of programs, make sure the checkbox "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is checked, and click OK.
