Question : Can I change the default contacts folder in "My Contacts?"

Currently the "Contacts" folder is the default. However, I have Business Contact Manager installed, and I have contacts that use the format that goes along with it.

These contacts (in the BCM) are the ones I use most often, so it would be nice if I didn't have to click the "Business Contacts" folder each time; it takes a while for the contacts to load.

Can I change the default contacts folder in "My Contacts?"

Answer : Can I change the default contacts folder in "My Contacts?"

Sure!  Kindof.

You can't change the contacts folder in your mailbox, but you can change the default place that Outlook goes to for your contacts.  The speed of loading may be due to other configuration issues because BCM uses a SQL database which is not in your .pst file.

Changing the default:
It's a little tricky to find where this setting is, but go to TOOLS > ADDRESS BOOK, then in the Address Book window, click TOOLS > OPTIONS.  Make any changes you want and then click OK.  You should be all set!

Good luck!
