Question : Multiple Personal.xls~RF251096.TMP files appearing in XLSTART folder

I just started using Excel 2002 on my new XP machine and it seems that each time I manually save the Personal.xls macro file, it puts one of these "Personal.xls~RF251096.TMP " in the XLSTART folder.

Problem is, it doesn't delete them and when I re-open Excel, it tries to load every one of these files.  It usually won't let me delete them manually either, even though Excel has been closed.  After a reboot, I can usually delete them.

I have never experienced this in previous versions of Windows or Excel and am presently stumped.

Anybody have any suggestions???
