Question : Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor without Internet connection.
Does anyone know if there is a standalone version of the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor or any suggestions for determining hardware compatibility on a PC that is isolated from the Internet? My research on the Microsoft website seems to indicate that you *must* have Internet Access and when we attempt to run the Upgrade Advisor on said machine we get a warning pop-up "Internet Access Required".

There is no current Microsoft offline Win7 upgrade advisor. The tool requires an internet connection to check it's database of known components and software, in addition to Microsoft wanting to collect anonymous statistical hardware information.
