Question : Outlook 2007 keeps asking credentials for exchange

Ok here is the problem. i have a new installed windows sbs 2008. new installed client with windows 7 professional. brand new netgear router and gigabit network.

When i join the client in the network i have no problems. login on to the domains works well. shares are working like it should be. printer sharing, internet... you name it, it works like it should be.

Now i installed office 2007 on the client. when i first open he gives me the wizard and filles in automaticly my exchange information and user. no problems so far. it opens outlook, starts syncronizing my email. after few secs i get a login box for outlook. i have to fill in my echange/ad information. when i do this it keeps poping up like its no correct information. strange thing is on the bottom right. outlook tels me that he is online with exchange. i can even cancel that popup box. but after few minuts the box is there again. i can cancel this all day and keep working.. mail sends out, reveiving works well....

tried to reinstall my server from scratch... as also my client.... same problem.... nothing else installed on either server or client. even no antivirus....

any ideas? this is driving me crazy....

Answer : Outlook 2007 keeps asking credentials for exchange

This issue has come up several times with SBS 2008 and Office 2007. Apparently installing Exchange roolup 9 will resolve the issue as per the following link:
