Question : Downgrade from 64 Bit Windows 7 to 32 Bit?

We have just bought a sony laptop that came pre-installed with Windows 7 64 bit.

the problems we are experiencing are to do with 64 bit Windows 7 rather than Windows 7 itself.
Is it possible to downgrade to 32bit Windows 7?

Just as it's not possible to upgrade without re-installing, I'm afraid you can't downgrade without it... :(
