Is there a way to rename a printer in an RDP session?
A windows vista computer is RDPing into a windows 2003 server standard. The printers are mapping and can be used in the RDP session however, when mapped the printer names add the session id to the end of the name and the program the end user is running has the printer name for the cash drawer hard coded into the application. So everytime a new session is started we have to go to the application settings and point to the new printer name.
