Question : Desktop icons have a white border around them and a dotted one too

Hi Experts :).

I have an issue with my desktop icons. For some reason they have a faint white border around them when they are on the desktop. Also when selected they get a dotted line border. I think the dotted border issue is to do with accessibility to visibly see what is selected (like clicked hyperlinks in firefox) but I don't really need it.

Any ideas ?

Reinstall your graphic card driver ...
