Question : "Search Key was not found in any record" Excel or TXT import to MS Access2007
I receive the error "Search Key was not found in any record" when I try to import records to create a new Access table. I am using Access 2007. I have tried compacting and repairing the database. I have tried cutting the data from the Excel file and pasting to a new spreadsheet. I have created a .txt file and tried to import also with no luck.
Is there anything in the file that could cause this problem? Thanks.

Check that you do not have leading spaces in any column headings in Excel.
