Question : "Previous session of OneNote still exiting"

When I try to open up OneNote 2007, I always get this error message (see attachment)

If I let it wait until the end, OneNote still won't open.

Any clue as to what is going on?

I would close out of OneNote...press ctrl-alt-delete ...go to task manager, go to processes...find any instances of OneNote.exe - right click and close....close all that you find if more than one...

I would then see if there are any updates for onenote...visit windows update and see if there are anything for one note...

and or run office diagnostics....to see if it repairs anything...it appears that it isn't closing down properly and re-opening when there is still and instance of onenote.exe in the process list...
