Question : Missing CALS in SBS 2003 after reboot.

We have a client that is running SBS 2003. The client owns 35 CALS in addition to the default 5 CALS that comes with SBS 2003 giving a total of 40 CALS. Problem is, when the server re-boots, it looses its licensing information and we need to reload all of them. This is a recently developed problem. We have Rebooted the server at least 3 times and each time requires a reload of the licensing. We have read many posts about AV or Disk space being an issue. We have ruled out Disk Space as there is plenty. As for AV, there has never been a problem in the past and are having a hard time believing its the issue. Nonehteless, we are working on excluding the directory C:\Windows\llc\ from the NAV console to see what happens.

Are there any other reasons that this may be happening?

Thanks

Yeah... I agree that the KB isn't of much help... I don't even understand the point in why it was written!

Just excluding the licensing path is only one option, FYI... there are other things that should be looked at which are listed here:  http://snipurl.com/wmm3
