Question : Quick Launch Toolbar Office 2k7 - Roaming Profiles

Microsoft Office 2k7 has a Quick Launch Toolbar in some of the apps such as Excel and Word.  You can customize what is in this toolbar.  Works great, however if you are using roaming profiles that delete from the terminal server you lose you settings every time.

This is because the settings are stored in a file in the Local Settings directory.  This folder does not roam, and therefore the settings are lost if you log out and back in.

Obviousally if we changed to have TS profiles not delete this would resolve the issue, but we are looking for an alternate method.  We would also like to avoid using logon/off scripts to copy the files in and out of the profile.

Any suggestions?  First one that is reasonable and works gets the points.

I will see if I can find a workaround, but I don't think you should hold your breath!
