|

We have recently rolled out Access 2003 (runtime) along with several new db's...
however a number of PC's insist on opening databases in exclusive mode, is anyone aware of a workarround for this?
Cheers

I just can't believe it... This VB routine runs -- obviously -- after the DB has been openend. This would mean that you can change the opening mode of a DB *after* it has been opened!
What's more, this does not explain why it worked on some PC and not others...
But hell, it you found a solution, let's drop the matter. Splitting the points is a nice gesture, thanks!
