Question : SLOW DATA ACCESS TO WINDOWS 2008 R2 VIRTUAL

Hi,

I raise my problem if someone knows there may be due.

I have a domain in SBS 2003 R2 and we will migrate all to a virtualized environment with a host server on Windows 2008 R2 and Hyper-V Std. Good amount the host server and data server also running on virtualized Win2008R2 and notice that the network access to shared folders on both servers Windows 2008R2 going very slow and also data transfer, it takes hours and crashes. It happens with all servers Win2008R2 not so with other virtualized server on Win2003.

I disabled the firewall on all profiles have enabled the share options in the center of networks but not because it is due. Do you have something to do Win2008R2 slower via network access?

Client computers are Windows 7 Ultimate, WinXPPro and Win2000Pro

Regards,

Now, it appears that you may have some NIC performance issues.

In this case check the NIC driver on the base network connection (make sure it is either the WS08 provided one, or the latest from the manufacturer), and try turning off TCP offloading (adapter properties) - as this can cause strange behavior on some networks.

Is their any network teaming config or mngmt software btw?
